Date: Tue, 2 Jun 1992 11:39:00 -0500 RESOLUTION NO. 19467 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT WITH HAMILTON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, FOR SAID COUNTY GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, FOR A TERM OF FOUR (4) YEARS AT THE RATE OF FOUR AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($4.00) PER CAPITA OF CITY POPULATION PER YEAR, WITH THE COUNTY TO PAY THE FAIR MARKET VALUE FOR THE RENTAL OF SPACE FROM THE CITY TO HOUSE EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL, TO ALSO PAY FULL MARKET VALUE FOR PURCHASING THE CAPITAL EQUIPMENT OF THE CITY FOR THE PROVISION OF AMBULANCE SERVICES, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY TO SERVICE THE COUNTY EMS VEHICLES AT THE CITY GARAGE AT FAIR MARKET VALUE FOR SUCH SERVICES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to contract with Hamilton County, Tennessee, for said county government to provide emergency medical services, within the city limits of the City of Chattanooga, for a term of four (4) years at the rate of $4.00 per capita of City population per year, with the County to pay the fair market value for the rental of space from the City to house equipment and personnel, and with the County to also pay full market value for purchasing the capital equipment of the City for the provision of ambulance services; 0C BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor be and is hereby further authorized to contract with Hamilton County, Tennessee, to service the County EMS vehicles at the City Garage at fair market value for such services.
